Aeneas Wilder: exhibitions Until the End of Time, ARTCOURT Gallery, Osaka, Japan
Until the End of Time: 19th May/2018 - 23 June 2018 ARTCOURT Gallery Osaka, Japan.
Two installations created in response to the exhibition space and presented as part of a solo exhibition at Artcourt Gallery. Untitled # 201 was a free standing unfixed 6.8m high circular column, made from uniform units of spruce, with each of the 300 layers being off set by 3mm, creating a 10 degree lean over the height of the installation.
The second installation, Untitled # 202 used salvaged 100 year old Eucalyptus wood to create a sequenced wall.
The exhibition was accompanied by maquettes and video from two previous exhibitions at Artcourt Gallery.
