The second installation created specifically for this exhibition was developed out of my direct experiences of living in Bangkok. A multitude of sound, the "dark market" was a great place to spend time, and the objects used for this work all came from that market. (detail) This was also an opportunity to realise, on a modest scale, a work developed some years before during my first residency period at NKD. The installation was destroyed as part of a public performance on the last day of the exhibition. Packed to the gunnels, a video link was set up so that those who could not get into the gallery space could at least watch it live on television.
