These T-shirts were produced to accompany the installations in the gallery. The design for the t-shirts was developed during my residency at Association Pollen earlier in the year. The design for a Universal flag came about through my thoughts on nationalism and the problems that rallying under one flag (which brings with it the implication to rally against another flag) creates for individuals as well as society. During this period in Thailand I produced a hand painted universal Flag, which was taken to the centre of Thailand and placed there as a symbolic gesture, de-nationalising the country.
