Kunst en Complex is an artist led initiative in Rotterdam. I stayed there in 2002 as part of their International Studio Programme. During my time there I researched a number of works relating to the architecture and materials to be seen in Rotterdam. I developed five installation works in all, each of which should be viewed as a maquette or sketch for larger architectural installations. The first two works in this sequence collapsed before completion.
