These beams were taken from palettes, broken up to create raw materials for installations. The length and weight of each unit of wood varies somewhat. However the average weight was about 12kgs. This helped create a deep sense of precariousness and danger within the space, as the top lengths of wood were capable of killing a person, if they were to topple and hit someone.
