Association Pollen

The exhibition at Association Pollen was the culmination of new research made over a three month period while on residency there. My research focused on perceptions of national identity.As my first project in Monflaquin I intended to create a "Zen" raked gravel garden. From these initial designs I developed a graphic image for a universal flag, and made steps to locate the geographical centre of France. My research also focused on perceptions of Europe. To this end I produced a series of flammable flags to facilitate the renunciation of national identity. Please click on images for more details.
